HAPPY 牛 YEAR!!!

this chinese year is the year of Earth Ox, in another word, year of Earth Cow, or some people like me, even called it year of Earth Moo. haha. the year of Rats is over, and now is the starting of the year of Ox. now, according to few magazines that i've read, and some fortune teller's programme in the tv, this year, the people with the snake zodiac will be very good. as in, maybe good in luck? it also says that this year the snakey will be involve in a relationship for those who don't have one yet, and relationship will gets better for those who are already in a relationship. =)

the same as every chinese new year, we went to my dad's place to put flower, then head on to my uncle's house to "bai bai" my grandparents. after that, went home to wash, wax, and clean my hero, while my mom were doing the cooking. haha. i spent almost 5 hours in cleaning the car, when i started from 2pm and ended at around 630pm. but all my efforts were wasted as it was raining heavily that night and i had to drive it out to send my brother to my sis-in-law's house. toooo baaaaaad. but even if i don't drive out that night, my car will still get dirty as the next day too, was raining. then we had reunion dinner! yayy!!! ahhh sh*t!! i forgot to snap the picture of the dishes that night! this year is abit special, we had crab. haha.. never had it before during reunion dinner. after that, around 1130pm we celebrated mom's lunar birthday. ya, her lunar birthday is always the new year eve, in chinese they called it, "sa chap mei". so after that of course we play firecracker at 12am la. haha. my neighbours are so rich. they keep playing the shoot-up-to-sky's fireworks till almost 1am. crisis economy and yet burning money? sure they're rich. haha.

on the first day of chinese new year, which was on monday, i woke up at 9? bathed and prepare everything then went to my eldest aunt's house visiting. just nice when we just reached there, there was a lion dance group playing there. but it ended a while later. we were lucky that there was another group of lion dance coming. so we waited a while then the group came. every year my aunt would ask two groups of lion dance at her house. haha. surprisingly, my nephew wasnt afraid of it. he got so excited that he don't even allow me to close his ear when they lighted the firecrackers. he kept touching the lion and said it was a bear. lol.

second day of chinese new year. my youngest aunt that live just opposite our house had an open house. so all my uncles and aunts came to our house visiting before going to her house for their lunch. coming to our house in such a big group is really a headache. we don't have enough chairs for them to sit. well, for uncles and aunts are just enough. but not for my cousins and nieces. they're so many of them that i can't even regonise who is who, and what's their name. what to do, i just meet them once a year. =D so, after attacking my house with such a big troop, they all went to my youngest aunt's house. that time it was raining heavily. weird but real, i have to use umbrella to shade every each of them over to my aunt's house, but not my aunt come to over to shade them to her house. as the result, i got wet by the heavy rain before even reach her house. sweat..

after that, we went to my sis-in-law's grandma house for visiting. we got so fascinated by the big gigantic fat koi fish in the fish pond. then we take the advantage to snap some picture in the beautiful garden. after her grandma's house, we head on to her own house and then, go back home. XD

reach home at 4 something, then andrea came to pick me up at around 5? then we head on to her grandma's house at somewhere near kuching high to get her car. after that we went to alicia's place for visiting. just like last year, we played 5 rounds of mahjong there. haha. first two round were won by andrea, then alicia, then angeline, and lastly, me. how pathetic. luckily i won in the end, if not i wouldn't want to stop playing. haha.

third day nothing much, just went to uncle's house for lunch cos he had open house too. after that just go back home lo.

fourth day. heavy rain since the moment i opened my eyes in the morning. then so coincidence that there was a king tide on the day itself. my mom told me that it's gonna flood it the rain continues for the rest of the day. and true enough that the batu kawa road to matang is already flooded, field force road too was flooded and the mjc water level is at its maximum already. brian came to pick me up at 1230pm, then we head to lynn's house. lynn became a part time barber girl there. you'll know when you see the picture below.

after lynn's place, we head to pn lye's house. we had some foodie there.. then chit chat there a while.. after that was jack's house. we had mi sua there.

woooo!! after that we adventure. agan drove me and lynn to his house to change his kelisa into his jeep. he thought he will need to go through the flood. then drive till mjc area, *brum brum bruuummm-mmm* mati engine. haha. we're out of petrol. we faster call jack who's in brian's car to go buy some petrol to fill in. haha. after that, we continue our journey to my house using the oposite road. people drive down, we drive out, using double signal light, a.k.a emergency signal light. agan was like so nervous cos dont know where to drive. then me and lynn is like lost our sense of direction. i asked lynn to look to the right, she look to the left. then i told agan to turn left when i actually wanted him to turn to the right. funny.
